Hartevelt wins annual NETEX Innovation prize, second best in Marketing category!
Past weekend, on the 24th of March 2018, the NETEX WorkSopDag took place for the 18th time. The well-attended event was held in the Van Der Valk Hotel in Tiel, where the prizes were divided among the nominees in the SIXX Skybar during one of the most renowned competitions in the industry. For dry cleaners Hartevelt it was the first time in the competition, and with success: Hartevelt won the annual Innovation prize and took the second place in the Marketing category!
The nominated dry-cleaners were judged in a preliminary phase on pieces they sent in to the competition, as well as the findings of Mystery Shoppers. The results of this phase weighed 50% towards the final result. The remaining 50% was based on an expert jury that judged the contestants’ pitches on stage. We, Hartevelt dry-cleaners, focused our pitch on the firm’s values and the developments we have gone through the past year relating to marketing, innovation, and sustainability. Think of the launch of our new website, creating Hartevelt Commercial, and the automation of internal and external processes. We have also spent a lot of attention and detail to the way we transport and package the products we handle.
These developments have all contributed to the facts that Hartevelt is a prizewinner! During the thunderous applause from our colleagues in the industry, Jesper de Ruiter (Marketing and Communication) and Roy de Zoete (manager) had the honor to receive the prizes. “This is the first time we participated in the competition, and we are very happy and proud to win the Innovation prize right away!” was the reaction of Roy de Zoete. The race for the NETEX Marketing Annual prize 2018 was a close one, where the number 1 and number 2 were separated by a mere 4 points (out of 250). “We are on the right track! Who knows what 2019 will bring?!” said Jesper de Ruiter.
